INjection pump died today
Well As the title says my injection pump took a big crap on me today! ANyways my question is to see if anyone can help me out. I have heard of a guy out of houston that rebuilds the injection pump for like $500 and was wondering if anyone has his name or anything so i can get ahold of him.
Any other help would be appreciated too!

is it totally dead or will it let the truck idle but won't make the truck move. if it idles try unplugging the map sensor and power braking this worked for me for a few extra weeks when mine was going out.

I checked, you have to get a rebuilt pump. Diesel shops all have to order one (unless they are Bosch authorized themselves) and simply add on $100 to the price of a rebuilt pump you can find on the internet.
The only source of rebuilt pumps are Bosch authorized rebuilders (reliable, anyway). Prices range from 950 to 1900 depending on what and where you get.
