ignition issue

ignition issue

when i turned the key, something moved internally to prevent starting engagement. all lights come on, but it needs one more turn to start. key wont turn it back. any ideas?

Sounds like switch and/or cylinder has gone bad. At least you don't have to pull steering wheel to change cylinder.
