Ignition Forward Bad? - Ticking Noise
Is having the key in the ignition FORWARD position (without starting it) bad for the truck?

I can hear a TICKING sound, what is that?

That is your Lift pump pressurizing your fuel filter housing and CP3. Shouldn't hurt anything. It should stop after a couple of minutes or so anyway.

Mine does that to. Perfectly normal. Stops after a few minutes.

If you keep the key forward in the run position without starting it for an extra minute or two. You will raise the rail pressure and get more power out of your truck just like all these boxes do. Plus you get fuel mileage gains up to 4+mpg
