Ideal timing point for MAXIMUM FUEL ECONOMY

I am taking a survey to establish (If possible) the most ideal timing point for the 12 Valve motor.
Please chime in with your best MPG and timing figures THANKS!
BTW....for what it's worth, My timing is at 19 and I am getting 24 hwy,and 22 city.
City driving with no regard for fuel economy.
I was shocked. These are consistent figures. 24 hwy going 72 mph

Timing is going to be subject to other mods as well like injectors. Some like a little less timing than others.

For me, 16°. Average mileage around 18 mpgUS per tank.

Of course, timing is not the dominant factor for MPG. See my sig, with mild mods over a period of years which I think have met my goal for high EFFICIENCY. One factor to pay attention to is complete combustion, denoted by absence of smoke. Another, where timing helps, is minimal boost when minimal power is needed. Some trucks can't run less than 7 PSI, even empty on a flat freeway. I run at 3 PSI. All mods are interrelated, a power mod may negate a MPG mod, even when power is not used.
