IAT Sensor
Would a bad IAT sensor not allow the high idle to kick on? This is the last thing I have yet too test too see why its not coming on even thought its turned on. Also I messed with the set screw for the throttle cable is there a right and wrong spot for it?

Yes, a bad IAT sensor would cause it to not kick on to high idle. Don't know about the set screw. I also just made my own high idle so it comes on when I want it. Great for winter warmup and summer cool down.

Well here is what I found out. I went out side and yanked the IAT out again its been maybe 15 thousand or more since I cleaned it last and well what do you know it was pitch black darker than the inside of a boot could not even see a spot of white let alone the little diode in the middle of the sensors cadge. Now what was what I thought due too not being chipped my lower than normal mileage might make sense and it has seemed down on power. I can only believe that this was the reason it was not coming on and I think it fowled faster because the chip was failing and could have been over fueling every thing. Plus I use my exhaust brake allot also. Waiting for another cold snap.
