Hypertech

Anyone using the Hypertech Max Energy power programmer? Not looking for a super amount of hp but some more fuel milage would be nice and changing my shift points for my larger tires looks like it would help. Price is good at $380, any advice?

I have a that programer and I got it for that reason. I foud out that you can not chage shift points. The guy from hypertech said they do bot offer that app on dodges. It did give some hp but no changing shift points. When I stacked it with my edge juice it would defuel so hard that I tought my injection pump was bad but it was that programer cutting off fuel under wot.

I have no experience with hyper tech other than what I've read (nothing that was outstandingly positive) my neighbour instaled on on his gasser (ford) he was not all that impressed with it.
Think you'd be better served with a smarty or edge or adr..
I had an EZ it provided the extra umph, some claim mileage gains, I saw no noticeable mileage increase, but I gained way more power, and the truck accelerated and pulled my 5th wheel with less effort.

When I had my hypertech in my truck I also has a bd boost fooler and the two together worked awsome. It was a huge difference pulling my trailer with my pullig tractor up hills passing people. They worked together and if you are still looking at the hypertech I have that and the bd boost fooler still I don't use then because of the edge juice.

My dad had one in his truck he liked. I didn't like that you had to pop the hood take off 2 screws and move thease little jumpers around to go between settings. If you lose one little jumper your screwed.
