hydro boost reseal question (pics)
anyone know how to get the push rod seals off? the push rod is like crimped on and will not come apart form the part the seals are connected to (part with the spring) thx guys

Here's a shot. Have you tried to compress the rear part with the cyl., towards the seals to see if the back will screw off? Can you push out the pin with the spring compress. Be careful when doing this, some springs could very strong. If I had more detailed pic's I might be able to help more. The folks at www.vancopbs.com deal with these units. Give them a call.

ok here is the deal, infidel thx for the link i was actually had found that link but he doesn't replace the push rod seals. TheWaterman1000 thx for your idea i tried it and it was a no go. i did how ever find a link to a guy that was rebuilding his unit and cam across the same issue. basically its a non serviceable part.

i sent shang442 an email asking if he has had any issues since the post is over a year old and he replied back saying non what so ever. i just finished resealing mine and just drove it for about 30 mins and no leaks! just saved my self some good hard earned $$$ thanks to the guys who wrote these tutorials
