hello first post here so bear with me i just bought a hx 40/16 brand new (good deal) i would like to put it atop a s400 but is their anything i should do to the hx40 first the reason i ask i read about peening the housing. what about the wastgate do i leave it alone or put a boost elbow on final question dose anyone use this setup with good results? thanks in advanced max

put it together and run it but you might have to play with you fuel and timing

Lots of people run that setup with great results. Piers diesel sells that setup. You shouldnt have to run a lot of boost with the HX40. Id say leave the wastegate alone, and try it. You can always mess with it later. They dont like to hold together if you spin them too hard.

Keep the boost down the 40 and you'll be good to go. When they are ran as singles is when most of the problems happen.
