HX40 Exhaust Housing Machined for HX50

Well as usual if you have anything fun it will break. Just put my hx50 on not too long ago and of course the housing cracked at the t3 flange. Anyways...What im looking for is

either a 16cm hx40 exhaust housing t 3 to get machined again orrr

a 16cm (or better which i dont think is possible) hx40 housing already machined out or someone who knows of someone who does.

Does anyone know any companys or machine shops that have any of the above on hand

Haisley Machine would be the only one IMO that would have something like that on hand. Most likely any shop that's capable of doing such would want you to source the housing, then ship it to them for machine work $$. You're probly better off putting the time and money into a much better suited turbo for a 1st gen, such as a s300.

Just tried calling haisleys. guess it is 830 pm so theyre probably closed. will try again in the morning

and I would go to an s300 but i like the hx50.

with the hx40 housing its all the more i need and spool up isnt bad like everyone says. i mean i wouldnt want to be trying to spool it with ten thousand lbs behind me but for fun its an awesome turbo. never payed attention to the tach to see at what rpm it spools but honestly its not much different than the hx40 it seems.

i could buy an s300 but i like being different and trying different things (and always having the chance to buy it down the road as to play with the truck more then. )

another question. does anyone know the part number or where to get the 2.5 inch square cut gasket on the turbo compressor cover that goes to the cross over pipe or intercooler piping. seen mine was getting a little chewed up after all the turbos ive dropped towards it

If you have anywhere local with 2.5" o-rings, just take it in and match it up. I've got a good hydraulic type shop locally that I get them from.
