Huntsville, AL Trans shop?

I am looking for the most reputable Transmission shop in the Huntsville, AL area. I need to have a Goerend Valve Body installed in my truck and I want someone that really knows what they are doing!.

Thank you! You might be thinking of mine but it isn't lifted, but it does look like it with the line-X on the rockers...

Wow, quite a few HSV guys here. I think there are some good shops in Decatur and Chattanooga but don't know specifics. Our 4x4 club website may have folks in the know.

I can't quite get "Your Transmission Man" to commit to a time so I am on the hunt for a GOOD trans shop. I talked to the local AAMCO and the guy there claims that one of his guys is starting up a performance trans shop and that they are the place to go, but it's an AAMCO...

Post this on the Rocket City Rock Crawlers forum and see what responses you get. I know there are a couple of guys on there that have dealt with this. I'm the outgoing prez of that club and that forum has been a lot of help to many.

I ended up using Nance Transmission in Huntsville. They installed the VB, strut and anchor for $175 including fresh ATF. I added a bottle of Lube Guard and the truck shifts great, nice and firm!
