Hp gain with a bigger turbo?
Do you gain hp by going to a bigger turbo or does it just cool things down? Roughly how much if you do?
Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm learning.

Assuming your not already in a scenario where you have more fuel than you have air to burn, most will see 15 to 20 more HP by putting on a turbo that provides 40+ lbs of cool boost. Just a side benefit of getting a better burn. Obviously if your running a combo like the TST stacked with an EZ and a stock turbo, putting on a bigger huffer will net you much bigger gains than that.

You gain horsepower if you have excess fuel that the stock turbo cannot provide enough air to burn, I gained roughly 30-40 hp with my B1 wastegated and I think that is pretty typical. However the major benefit is the temp reduction, I believe that mine was reduced about 350-400 degrees on a quarter mile run.
Hope this helps
