What is the hp rating on a Edge Drag Box?

140 hp I believe it is but don't expect that at the wheels.

Yeah, as far as I know its 140. I have the regular version and it gives 120. But anyway they are both some bad a#$ boxes rather "hot" or not.

i was thinkin the drag was north of 160 or 170? never ran the drag version, so dont take my word for it

I thought the EDGE Drag Comp was good for like 200 HP.


Do you guys read other websites besides this one? If you go to the edgeproducts website it clearly states that the Drag Comp is good for 120 HP to the wheels. The HOT or Drag upgrade does not increase peak HP, it simply fuels sooner and thus has more area under the power curve... more useable HP. It also raises the defueling point to 3200 RPMs. Not a factor in an auto till you hit 90 MPH or so. Not a factor in a manual if you shift at peak HP instead of over driving every gear.

i was told by edge the drag was 120 hp same as the comp except on the h.o trucks there only 90 hp the drag is diff because it de fuels @3200 instead of 2700 like the comp

my buddy put one on his 01 auto. he likes it but gets an overboost code sometimes. whats that from? it dont smoke much.

i can promise if you every drove or going to drive a truck with the comp you wil love it my rocks it runs like crazy i run my box on the stage 3 (80 hp) and some stage 2 (60hp) but i will crank it up when playing and boy it will run and the chip is a 120hp chip and dont realy smoke that much but i love my box!

Drag was a huge difference for me...NO De-Fueling was the best part. You will love it.
