Talking Howdy all!!!!!

Jeff here from so. Arkansas. I recently purchased a very used 95 3500HD, running, but with a known bad transmission and clutch. Drove it home with only 1st and 5th gears. Body and tool bed are a little rough around the edges, but nothing serious. So far I have installed a Centerforce DFX clutch and built a trans from parts I had laying around. Truck seems to run and drive great. It still has a few issues, but nothing an old equipment mechanic can't handle.
This is my first Dodge and Cummins, though I have worked on many pieces of equipment with this engine, My Ford buddies think I have lost my mind but I am an avid 6BT fan.
Best part of the whole deal was the price, I only paid $500 for the truck Was offered $1500 for it before I even touched it.
I'll have a few more questions before I get it road ready, but so far I am well satisfied.
