hot juice?
I am deciding weather to get the hot juice unlock or not? is it worth it and does it blow any more smoke than the extreme setting?

It has a quite a bit of smoke...Great power if you can keep your EGT's down.hit 1400 in no time..

Huge diff. Level 6 blows lots of blackness on the bottom. It is well worth the upgrade...

On your 2001, it does't add ANY hp or tq to your motor getting the Hot unlocked...it only raises your defueling from 2700RPMs to 3200...so you won't notice any snappier take off or anything like that...just a longer power curve...I wouldn't think it would be worth the $100 and time with the Edge off your truck and sent in to Edge to be unlocked if you ask me...if you want more power look for something good to stack with. Just my 2 pennies

He doesn't have the luxury that us 06-07 guys have of just calling in for an unlock code...05 and older have to send their units in for programming

i can speak for the 05 guys its worth that 100 buck and sending it in stepped up the power a good bit. it does blow a good amount of smoke with a pressure box hooked up as well.

I'm curious to know just how long before the tranny goes out on you and what kinda numbers are we talking about, on the average, for the Hp thing?
