I don't think it's a breather hose. The other end where I'm holding it in the pic goes into what looks like vacuum lines.

Anyone know what this is ?????

Kinda looks like a high preasure hose. Could it be a power steering/power brake line?

It looks like its your vacuum line coming from the vacuum pump and heading to the HVAC control panel inside the cab. My '96 has a vacuum line from the pump to the power brake booster and splits to the cruise control module, vacuum sensor, EGR valve, and HVAC control panel. Follow the line and see where it leads to. However, I don’t recognize the circled bracket with the question mark.

The circle with the question mark looks like the hold down bracket for the return line minus the bolt that goes though it.

You're probably right. I had it back at the Dealership back in January to have the head gasket replaced. I'm sure they forgot to put it back together.

I still haven't found where the hose gets plugged into yet. When it gets more humane outside (Heatwise), I'll have to start looking around I guess.
