Does anyone know how to disable that annoying safety feature? The horn sounds if the truck is moving and the door is open.... It's getting on my nerves when backing up to a trailer or maneuvering in the driveway.

Ya I want it gone as well. I am at the point I am considering cutting the wires to the horn. I never ever use it anyway so its a viable option for me. I am sick of having to completely close the dore when I am backing up to the camper or just needing to move it back a couple inches to get it hooked up.

Only way I know of is the dealer or someone that's got a Star Scan.

I haven't tried it, but saw it mentioned on here that you could jump out the switch in the driver's seat belt buckle.

I don't think it's possible for the dealer to disable it by legitimate means, such as with the Star Scan, as this feature was installed as a safety recall.
