Horn ?

I have a question. So when I put my truck in reverse and open my drivers side door to look behind me the horn beeps over and over. Is there a way to turn this off?

Thanks

You can try this trick. Underneath the driver seat is a wiring harness connector that goes to the seat belt latch. Unplug the connector and install a jumper wire to short the two wires together. This should disable the seat belt chime.

It's part of a flash update that cannot be taken off. It knows the door is open by the interior lights being on. Only way to stop is to either never open the door when in reverse or put a switch inline so you can turn the light off manually.
