Honing cylinder
I had a melted pistion so i took everthing apart now i need to order a honing bead tool. I dont want to use the stone type my luck it will come out egg shape. Does anyone know what size to use on a 24v 2003? It has a 4 inch diameter hole i just heard to go bigger like 4 1/8 or 4 1/4? hopefully it will take all the metal or roughness out. Any suggestions will help thanks Jesse

On a 4 inch, yes go alittle bigger. How bad is the walls? Fair amout of metal transfer? Keep a good cross hatch angle. Make sure you use a good honing oil. It will keep the berry hone from clogging up and not cutting.

I bought a flex hone off of BRM (Brush Research Manufacturing). Good hone and not too expensive either. http://www.flex-hone.com/
Mine was just a small 1.5" hone for a Maytag Twin washing machine engine. I got 240 grit per their recommendations. They have videos and instructions on how to use them on the website. http://www.brushresearch.com/videos.php
