Should work just fine, I have one sitting on my shelf I was going to install, but havent had the time/money to get a fuel pressure guage yet
Shouldnt have to worry about pressure too much, alot of guys run the blue without any regulation/bleed off, im assuming the black would be the same way, just more volume...

If you're going to run it inline with the stock in-tank pump, then I would use a Blue instead of a Black. The Blue provides more than enough pressure and volume. By using a Black you will just be deadheading the pump more which is likely to kill it even sooner.
