Hit the scale the other day, thought my truck would weigh more
So I went to the local CAT scale to get my truck weight, came up to 6,360 lbs.
Thought it would closer to 7,000 or more. My truck was empty, had a full tank of diesel, and I was not in the truck (couldn't reach the call button from the cab). I have a Line-X bedliner, and a camper shell.
Anyone know what the weight of a fairly stock 2nd gen Ram is?

I weighed my svelte little long bed MEGA Mega cab 3500 dually 4x4 with my skinny lil carcass in it and a full factory tank of fuel at two scales in the past 3 months.
The commercial CAT scale put me at 8400 pounds.
The DOT scale north of the city put me at 3900 kilograms or 8580 lbs.
When I had all my gear ...2 tool boxes, hitches etc I was over 9000 lbs.
Still, at that weight I can eek out an honest calculated 20 mpg if I keep the speed under 65 mph. 70 gets me 18.5. 75 it will drop to 16.x
I think the next thing for me is a free spin kit.
Already did the diet and dropped 34 pounds off my lil carcass.
