High tech turbo hx 35/40 turbo

I am just wondering if a hybrid turbo would work well with an edge comp and either dd 2's or edm 2's. I do tow an 8000 5th wheel every now and then. Also what exhaust housing should be used 14, 16, 14 wastegate or any thing else.

I run the stage 3 upgrade with my original 12cm housing... No lag at all and worked well with my 300's and #4 plate (Not towing as I don't have anything to tow yet).

I have the stage 3 with a 16 non WG works awsome when towing, a little laggy in certain situations but the better flow is worth it.

I agree with Bob W. a 14 housing would be a great ballance between low end spool up and top end egt control.

moosemen, i'm running the stock hx-35 off an 01 HO and it really makes the truck run a lot smoother it feels like. you will like it. plus you should be able to find one for cheap that someone has replaced. also who did you ahve to do your suncoast tc/vb

kdawg62, I had it installed at carls accurate in logan. i called down to you guys at gillett and talked to rich. he told me to have carls do it for me rather than drive the miles. carl has always been a freind of mine so he gave me a great deal plus done an excellent, fast job.

And if you end up with an extra flange type turbo elbow, I will be interested.

The 14 wastegated is the ultimate way to go less lag and better high end flow. It is expensive but well worth it. Otherwise I suggest the 16 non wastegated for now and upgrade later and sell the 16.
