High tack spray on HG?

I'm sending my head to PDR diesel performance to be o-ringed and ported to the max due to a leaking valve guide on the fourth cylinder. I've already got a .020 over marine in it. I talked to a tech from NADP and he advised me to spray my HG with high tack spray when I put it back together. My question is has anyone else done this and if so how well did it work out for you? These HG are already quite sticky so I'm wondering if it is mayby to fill any machining imperfections or pitting. Any info would be great. Thanks

IMO, head gaskets are some of the most "engineered" gaskets out there. Most would say in the directions if they required an assist from hiTack or other chemical. Its my opinion that a head gasket should be installed per the directions that come with it.
