my first time pulling a camper in the mountains this weekend and i was getting concerned with my engine temps once i started uphill the temps climbed to 210-215 degrees and stayed there. my egt's stayed around 1000-1100 degrees. should i be worried or is this normal. by the way i turned my juice box to the stock mode

The fan doesn't come on for coolant temps until 215deg. Engine designed to run at 230 without issue.

I dont like that high of a temperature. Put a 180 degree t-stat in from Cummins. Runs cooler now. Hopefully the transmission will like the cooler temps and last a little longer.

Turn the A/C on and the fan will come on. That will keep the temps down some...
