High EGT's

i went to run at the race track last night with my new combo of the smarty and the quad my egts were pegged at 1500 degrees. i had the smarty on se6. what do i need to do to lower my egts what do u guys suggest

bigger turbo would be the best bet or water meth

what about my super b special that i have would that bring the temps down and still be able to tow my 4ft. enclosed race trailer

1500 degrees isn't the end of the world. Unless that's what your egt gauge maxes out at and you really don't know the exact high temp number....? And the super B special should bring temps down considerably but I have no idea about towing... But you shouldn't even notice a 4' trailer... unless you meant 40'?

i meant 40ft i forgot to put the 0. my guage maxes out at 1500 degrees. i guess i will have to try it and see what it does

Depends on elevation, a 64 at 2300' max around here tows well with a stick. Your auto may lag a little more but if you are in the 5,000 ft or more elevation you may not like it.

i dont really live around any mountains her in georgia so i think it should be ok but i will see
