HID's, 3am, snow

I am trying to load the video off my phone but am having issues . Here is a pic traveling in South Utah at about 3am headed to Idaho from Albuquerque.

Snow we got last night at my parents in Donnelly Idaho

The truck did VERY well on the snow and ice. I was a bit nervous at first with such big tires but she glued right to the ground. Southern Utah was -11 degrees so that helped a bit! LOL

Maybe i can email the vid to someone and they can load it. Photobucket does not want to pick up the video for some reason. Took it off my phone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Man I miss the snow

Your truck looks like it could go through 4ft of snow with that lift.

that is what I was impressed about. it is hard to tell but the snow was really coming down and if I had the factory lights, it would have been hard to see. There was many times I was able to drive with the high beams on while snowing badly. I could actually see! It is sweet!

If you dont mind me asking, how much does a set of HIDs run? PM if you like. Not that I need em for the snow, but the better you can see at night, the safer it is.

I got screwed by a company named eurofx. then HIDSPEED.COM hooked me up with the needed parts. Ended up spending what HID Speed wanted in the first place. IMO the customer service was worth the price and knowing that I dont have problems.

These are the ones that I bought and did not need any extra parts. Just installed them and they work great.

How does the high/low function work with that kit? I have seen some that move the bulb in-out and some have 2 separate bulbs. It was a little hard to tell by looking at the pic plus some just list generic pics.

Are you guys using the factory headlight housings or using the projectors? I have heard HID kits in halogen housings can be horribly off on their aim.

Im running my HIDs in the stock housing, and the pattern is good, i just had to adjust my headlights down so i wouldnt blind other drivers....the bi-xenon kit uses 1 bulb for the high and lows

I got some like these and they work great, no high beam HID but the HID and highs come on together, no problems here.... just your preference I guess.

Those are the ones I was thinking of getting. The bulb moves in-out for high and low. I also want to get HID fogs for in my Road Armor bumper. I think that would be BA All kinds if HID. It would be like daylight but I fear of having issues making sure all of them are the exact same color.

So when you turn on your regular lights the brights come also? How was the fit of those lights? Easy install?

ya most of the kits work great until you start the truck lol.... got that t-shirt. HIDSPEED custom made me a harness and now I have no problems. I am going to try my customers PMT to see if we can get my fogs on while brights are on. that would be the cats meow!
