hi all, please I need your opinion

hi all My goal was to make my 01 2500,, a dually , as I like the way they ride when towing they are more stable we all know the reasons we like our 3500's

anyways I found a truck on ebay which I purchased, the idea was to buy it take/trade all the parts needed to make mine a 3500. and the sell my friend the truck with all my removed parts back on the 3500 if that makes sense,,but I need your help in deciding because there are pros and cons to both trucks,

first my 2500 has 50k less miles at 138---k miles, mine has heated leather seats, working AC, and a few dress items such as a manik push bar, fiberglass ram-air hood

the new truck is the same color, but has 187---k miles ugly tan cloth interior, non working AC,

question is do you think it would be easier to swap out the heated leather seats and wiring, color matching the dash and headliner, door pannels, rear door panels fiberglas hood, etc. into the 3500

or swap the dually bed, rear axle, computers and such onto my 2500 which do you think makes for the easiest path

I hope this makes sense, sp please chime in I'd like to get started this comming week

if you put the dually axle under the 2500 you gvw will be to low to haul anything but if you are in a state that requires yearly inspections on 10,000gvw and more you wont have the hassel of inspections as it still a 2500

reall i did not know that, so I guess I will just transfer all the interior stuff to the 3500,, fun fun, kinda sucks because the 2500 has 50k less miles, and working AC oh well that can be fixed

Thinking of doing the same to mine. If it was me I would do all the mods to the truck with less miles. Whether it be the 2500 or 3500. Far as worrying about the GCVW still being for a 2500, Switch the doors with the data plate out if your worried about big brother checking up on you. Allready ordered the short bed dually fenders from the guys I'm posting in the link below. Also ordered 10 lug adapters, Allready have a nice assortment of 22'5 & a few 24 wheels laying around. Now just need a dually axle.
