Hi I have ****** whistler and i luv it. I installed it about 2 weeks ago. all is good but it seems to move back and forth by hand. Did any1 zip tie it down and where? it might not move when a guy is driving its hard to tell. I dont know where to fasten it?Zip tie it to battery cable?

Yeah the battery cable. Loop a big zip tie around the torque tube or elbow and run that through a smaller zip tie that's looped around the battery cable tighten both and trim, good to go.

sure. thanks. what do you guys think of the whistler? what improvements did u notice?i noticed awsome sound . I havent noticed fuel mileage gains yet since i did lots in the past week. I just deleted cat and stock muffler and put a aero4040xl in place of cat and a genos garage muffler delete pipe where stock muffler was. i also added a edge juice attitude and drive around on setting 1 for mileage.I hope I get a 1 mpg gain from all that.

Just the great sound and better spool up. Don't know about mpg gains from whistler doubt there's any change there really. Always thought that was just phoney advertising hype for the pricier intakes on the market anyways.

thats what i figured. Because if the afe stage 2 pro 7 gives 1-2 mpg gains like it says then the whistler should to then because if anything (it may look uglier) I think the whistler lets more air in.And in a diesel more air the better. it cant hurt. same with exhaust. lots say removing cat reduces MPG. WRONG. Im almost a journeyman diesel mechanic and my teachers even say you are best to leave a str8 pipe right after turbo with as little resistance as possible. No cats no mufflers. it may be loud or sound awful but its best.

I had a bungee around mine. But now I got a heat shield off of an AFE stage 1intake, grinded out the hole bigger, it works great.

The biggest difference I noticed is the whistle. I haven't checked my milage with it due to my heavy right foot.

i zip tied to the existing little groument hole where the stock air box was, towards the bottom of the batt., thats just a temp tho i would love to make a clamp style bracket tho. i took all the shroud out, the one that goes all the way down to the bumper, go louder, but now, SALLYMAN where did you get that outter wear for the filter?
