Help removing 01 rotor on Q-CAB 4WD

Hi, I hope someone has a quick answer for my little problem.
I want to replace my rotors on a 2001 (1st Half, rear drums) Q-Cab 2500 Diesel (I believe the front axle is Dana 60).

I looked at the service manual which states:
REMOVAL - 1500/2500 FRONT
(1) Raise and support the vehicle.
(2) Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
(3) Remove the caliper from the steering knuckle,
(Refer to 5 - BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/
DISC BRAKE CALIPERS - REMOVAL) and remove
caliper adapter assembly (Fig. 32).

I followed all above instructions. However, the do not completely deal with the setup I have. There is an armature that holds the caliper assembly and it prevents the rotor from sliding off the studs (the rotor does slide a bit, then hits the overhanging armature). I looked at the back of this armature (looks like a very beefy U bracket that is bent to the center of the axle) and it looks like its is bolted in with "inverted" Torx head bolts (male torx head, maybe 15mm or so).

Can anyone confirm this is a Torx bolt? Is it an E-24? And where it can be easily purchased at retail?

I searched through the threads, but the only references I found were:
a)someone showing some pics with the caliper nesting armature removed, I will include it here for reference. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...n-t205721.html
b)someone saying they took it off with a 16mm 12-point wrench (I am afraid of rounding the head of what looks like a Torx)

Thanks in advance & sorry for the long-winded post, I am hoping to get this done tomorrow so I can go fishing next week - blues are statring to run.

Not sure if its a torx bolt or not, but you can get a simple set of stanley torx bits at most wally worlds without breaking the bank.

The inverted torx head is probubly a 12 point bolt. If you have 12 point sockets, try them to see withc fits. I for get what size they are. I say probubly, because i am not sure it is the same as my 02. But all the inverted torx looking bolts are 12 point heads instead.

IF I recall correctly its a 16mm 12point socket, and it wont round off, you will need a long breaker bar to get them loose

Thanks, it was a 16mm 12 point bolt head

To all who answered my sincere thanks. Did get the bolts off with a 16mm 12-point wrench.

I did not have a good enough pipe to use as torque arm. And the bolts were on quite tight - the easiest way to take them off (after lots of banging to get one loose with a BFH) was to use the trolly jack to leverage the wrench, turns it like nothing.

Thanks again,
amh
