Question Help with P2509 Code ???

Hi guys my truck has been running GREAT until this morning .I was out of town last night and returned this morning to start my truck and low and behold no start just click , click .... So I was *** you have to be kidding me right?? So I check for any switches that I might have left on and nothing everything was cool I had plenty of power for the interior lights and dash lights. So I checked for loose cables etc and all is good , so I jumped it and she fired right up! Then I hear "DING" and I did the ole key trick and bang "P2509" on the odom and the engine light is on ???? My truck is only 1 yr old and 14,200 miles on it. What else can I check for ?????

Thanks guys for the help guys all is appreciated!!!!!!!

I had the p2509 code and it was my batteries. You may want to have them checked out. Mine failed at 5 years 72k, so I doubt yours are gone already, but it is something to check until you get some more advice.

P2509 Ecm/pcm Power Input Signal Intermittent

That's what the code means. Check your battery connections, look at your ECM and make sure that nothing has caused the harness to come loose...

Jump starting these trucks, or using the truck to jumpstart something sometimes will pop this code. Just another fun "gremilin" inside a 6.7. Just clear out the code and you should be ok.

Thumbs up Update 2/2/9

Hi guys today after work I went under the hood and I found that both posi and neg cables on both batteries were loose so I tightened them up and check both batteries with a meter and all is good and then I cleared the code with my code reader and she is running great !!!!!!

Thanks for all the help !!!!
