help with mystery swtich.
ok so i have been to the tst site like everyone says but there is still a couple things i dont get.
1. when i install the jumper wire, do both ends of the wire go back into the slots where the trans relay was or does only one end of wire go in and the other end of wire go somewhere elsE?
2.do i hook up a ground wire to the b11 wire or do i just hook it one end up to a switch and the other end to a ground source?
3. does the end of the b11 wire hook up to the switch?
HELP would be great considering ive been trying this all week and dont have the time to screw up

With this mystery switch, when the switch is off, does the tranny operate in stock mode? Locking and unlocking controlled by the ECM? Or is it unlocked all the time intill you activate the switch?

with the switch off the torque converter won't lock untill that switch is flipped.

Yes, with the switch in the off position it works exactly like it did before you put the switch in. If you put a resistor on the ground side of the switch you won't have to remove the relay. I bought a 33 ohm (#2711104, I think) one from Radio Shack and soldered it into the ground wire.

i see no fuel in your sig. take your fuel plate and slid it full forward, and screw 30mph go down a road thats pretty straight and slow down to 20mph lock your converter, and wait a sec untill you hear it lock, you should hear the motor lugging, and then just put it to floor, it should roll some coal. which fuel plate do you have in your truck? do you have a pyrometer and boost gauge? those would be your number 1 problems if you don't then would be no extra fuel. that would cause your truck not to smoke.

If your tranny is stock i would be careful lockinging it up and lugging it so low. Stock form they dont have enough pressure to be doing that alot, or youll start slipping your converter. Search for free 12valve mods and you will learn about sliding your plate and smoke screw and timing and youll get smoke.
