Am looking for a lift kit. Right now am debating between the Pro Comp 6" with the upgraded Fox shocks (6" Lift, 2007 - 08, Dodge Ram 2500/3500 Diesel 4WD 6” Long Arm Suspension System - EXP-K2074BFR
Fox Series Reservoir Front & Rear Shocks [ http://4wheelonline.com/Products.asp...oductId=154932 ]) or the Rize 8" (http://4wheelonline.com/RizeDodgeSus...s.61337.150801). also want to put either 35" or 37" on. Right now am leaning towards the 35's on the RBP 93r wheels (http://www.rollingbigpower.com/produ...roducts_id=102) .....(18x10 0r 20x10?) i want to pick out a good combo. If anyone out there is running one of these lifts or wheels can you please let me know you experience with it? Thanks

If your going to do 35" tires on 20" wheels I would go with a 5" lift and some bilsteins. Your truck will hold together longer. If your planing on 37" you can do the 6" lift. And if your going to do an 8" it will be useless unless you plan on using 40"+ tires. I have a 5" lift with 5100 series bilsteins and The 35's look small on my truck

It really depends on the truck. I've got 6" lift had 35" and it looked PERFECT, got 37" now, and it still looks very good, but the tires rub slightly.

IMO 6" to 8" is a huge difference. It is the difference where a lot of things start costing you money. You need to do something with your front driveshaft, among other things, and it's that much harder on everything, and where your truck starts to become useless for what it was made for. 6" is still just bolt on parts, and usually no problems.

37" would like fine with 6" or 8" though.

Many stock trucks have huge problems because of way people drive them, heck I bet a lot of people running 8" lift parts last longer then stock trucks. A TON of it has to do with the driver. Flat out, a LOT of people lifted truck especially do NOT take care of them, and complain when they have problems.

I really don't need the 8" lift. Now i need to make a decision on a lift kit. I see most people are using tuff country. I have been leaning toward that pro comp i mentioned earlier. any input?

I have a kind of mix mash of lift parts, 5" lift procomp is the base of the lift I then added bilsteins shocks they made a big difference and recently just installed the Tuff country radius arm long arm conversion kit. This combo seems to work very well, I drive alot of rutted potholed washboardy roads and I have to say the front now rides very smooth not like before. I plan on going with a 5.5" Thuren coil and ditch the spacer blocks soon, but first I have to smooth out the back end (never used to be able tell how rough the back end was). As well I need to figure out how to keep ball joints in my truck longer than 15000 miles warranty is starting to get ****** off at me, but they keep replacing them.

I installed a Revtek 6 inch system on my Megacab and its a easy to install, excellent riding system right out the box.

I'm also running the Superlift with 37's. Wheels have 4.5 back space. Tires stick out maybe 3-4 inches.
No complaints.... well except for all the steering boxes i've had to replace...(pay to play..)
Had to trim the front of the inner fender well a few inches because the tires rubbed, but not that big a deal.
My kit came with Bilsteins but i'm swappin them out with Kings here soon ..
