Help with installing pump cover

I am installing a blue chip pump cover.I thought you just needed to hook up the grey wire and run the other one to ground. But it says to tie two others together in a wiring harness with a scotch-lock that they provide. But they did not send one. So,do I need to just hook up the grey wire and ground and thats it?

If you note the directions ... your reading the part regarding the blue chip box. You only need to connect the grey Comp wire to the wire tap on the pump cover. The other black wire goes to one of the intake bolts.

I was told not to ground the wire on the pump cover.

The two wires on the Blue Chip cover, and the instructions to "Tap" another wire, are used when hooking up a Blue Chip box.

If hooking up an Edge products box, only hook up the wire connected to the screw with a pointed end that connects to the circuit board.
Leave the other one backed out enough that it won't make contact with the edge of the pump and secure the locknut and don't worry about grounding it.
(I just removed the wire from the connection on mine)

Thanks guys.I didn't think I needed to hook up anything else but I wanted to be sure. There is a big difference with the wire tapped compared to EZ mode!I had to go to town last night and I raced a newer hpcr dodge truck.I think he was stock except for exhaust but I sure suprised him when I pulled right past.
