Help fast!!!!

My 2005 is having alot of problems I have 37000miles on it and when you get on it real hard in about 4th or 5th gear it looses all power and just starts dropping rpm's then I let out of the gas and feather it and it is fine. i don't know what it is. I am getting code p0633 and p2149 I went to have the fuel filter changed but nobody has one I have the edge and bullydog on the truck but took the bullydog off first thing. The edge even on level 0 it is still doing the same thing. What do you guys think CP3, fuel filter, injectors but there is no fuel in the oil, or in tank pump? I don't know please help also note that if you don't get on it at all it is fine.

I didn't research the codes but your problem sounds like a perfect description of a clogged fuel filter. Change it first.

Mine did the same thing a couple of days ago. P2149 code as well. I took the Edge off and it was fine. Put it back on and it did it again. Took it off and called Edge and they said it sounded like a problem with the box and to send it in. Haven't heard back since I sent it.

well I went out and bought a fuel filter and air filter and changed them and haven't had a problem since. The thing why I wasn't banking on it being a fuel filter is I changed the last one 12,000 miles ago and wouldn't expect it to be so dirty all ready. I must have got a bad tank of fuel.

All it takes is a drink of water or some dirt. They can last for many years and they can go in a couple of minutes. They change interval is just an approximation and has nothing to do with a bad batch of fuel. Glad you got it fixed so easily.

For that reason, I change mine at every oilchange. 7,500 miles. I know it's overkill, but I have the wrenches out allready

I change mine out every 10k, which is every other oil change for me.

I also keep a spare in my toolbox on the truck.

I've also adopted a 10K change interval. There's a picture of one of mine at 11K in my gallery. Doesn't look good.

I change oil, oil and fuel filter, grease the tie rods and the front drive shaft EVERY 3,000-4,000 miles. I have a readily available supply of oil and fuel filters and get them all at cost. And yes, I do use FRAM on both . I figure if I am gonna change them that often then they dont have time to screw up. Fram put 144,000 miles on my powerjoke without a problem and 210,000 on my chevy without a problem.
I also dont have a problem with the oil being pitch black after 500 miles. It looks good and golden when it goes in and same when it comes out.
