Exclamation HELP with CPS Problem!!

As of today my truck has began to run very raggety when you first start it, warm or cold, the tach bounces with the motor for about 30 seconds and then clears up. When it clears up the tach looses single and 0's out. The tach in my Atitude moniter still works though.

I changed the cam position sensor under the IP first no change, then pulled the starter and changed the crank position sensor. When I pulled the crank sensor out it looked like something had hit it. I put a new sensor in and still get the same engine code and problem. Is there a spacer that goes on them? It looks like it's hitting the tone ring on the crank. Has anyone seen this before?

Pull your new crank sensor back out to see if it has been hit also. I is rare but yes I have herd of this, the tone wheel is working loose on the crank.

What is the fix for this? I hope not pulling the engine, or maybe I could pull the pan in the truck. Is that possible?

Yes, it is possible to fix it by just pulling the pan.
