HELP, Codes need help fast!
06 CTD acts liek its running on 5 cylinders.

P2149-BANK 2 (CYLINDERS 4-6) SHORTED HIGH OR LOW
WHEN MONITORED
While the engine is running.
SET CONDITION
A misfire detected at cylinders 4,5, or 6 or any combination of cylinders 4,5, or 6.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
WHEN MONITORED
While the engine is running.
SET CONDITION
The ECM does not read a change in value from the sensor over time.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
WHEN MONITORED
Key on
SET CONDITION
Invalid Key Code received from SKIM Module
POSSIBLE CAUSES
WHEN MONITORED
While the engine is running.
SET CONDITION
When the injector current falls below a calibrated threshold.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
installed anything new lately???

- Low side driver circuit shorted in injector harness

- Battery TEMP sensor
- Intermittent condition

- General network error
- Key not programmed
- Incorrect key
- Incorrect VIN IN ECM or SKIM
- Loss of communication between ECM and SKIM

No, nothing new, 120K miles, Has done a smiliar thing before and we pulled over, drained the water trap, wiggled every connecxtion we saw and it carnked up and it ran good, not this time.

no chip, not straight pipe,nothing, bone stock... Second owner, truck smokes like crazy when you hammer down on it, 6SPD, so it may have a set of injectors in it??? (good ole black smoke)

i have seen where the injector connectors(under the cover) have contacted the rockers, causing the short... just required a loosening of the retaining nuts for the wire lugs and position them so they cant touch anything metal.
