Heater hose/tubes replacement
My 1st gen has seen a lot of east-coast winters.
Looks like the heater hose lines above the exhaust manifold were changed out with some miscellaneous tubing a while back. Several more years of rust later, this stuff looks like it'll break if I look at it wrong
Has anyone routed their own heater hoses without the steel tubing? Just looking for ideas... pics would be great. I'm thinking of going around the passenger fender to the rad support to get to the front of the engine.

I ran all silicone line for mine to accommodate a water cooled turbo. You may have to make some brackets to hold it so you don't have 4 feet flopping around but it would work great and silicone heater hose lasts a long time.
