What is the easiest way to replace the headlight bulbs on these newer trucks? I bought some new ones and popped the hood yesterday in the rain and saw it didn’t look easy so I wne back inside. I figured I’d hit you guys up before I take the fenders off or something.

The easy way is to remove the headlight assemblies from the truck. The rubber headlight strips need to be unscrewed from the fender and I think it's 3 10mm bolts holding the assembly in place. Two on the side and one between the bumper cover and the headlight. Pull firmly outwards because there's a plastic clip holding the outboard side of the headlight assembly in place.

Thanks; I see that is the way to go. It took me about 15-20 min to get them changed. I wouldn’t want to do it at 3:00 am in the rain, however.

I just changed mine out with better bulbs. Chevy has Dodge beat when it comes to changing a headlight bulb. What a PITA!

Easiest way - the dealer. Haha. If I remember correctly, there is a pictoral in the owners manual on how to change them.
