Headlights(brights) and dash light stuck on...need lights!
Suddenly brights indicator on dash is on, and when I shut off truck lights stay on...Tried to turn bright on and off while running and brights indicator gets brighter but stays on and won't stay on brighter setting. Pulled 40w fuse under hood and tried swaping with trailer 40w fuse, lights stayed on until pulled fuse and now ABS light is on probably from pulling trailer fuse...do I just disconnect battery to reset the ABS light? Any help would be great will need lights to get to work in morning, fuse is currently out...thanks

Either the head light switch and or wiring plug for the switch is going bad, they melt from the amount of power running thru it.
Or the multifunction switch is going bad.

The EXACT same thing happened to me! It was my Day Time Running Light Module (DRL Module). I had to buy a new one. You can however just disconnect the DRL Module and then you will have a old fashioned truck where you have to turn on the lights manually, and your high beam indicator will be ON all the time.
The DRL Module is a little black box on the drivers side fender, and it has one multiplug with many wires (15 or so) connected to it.
Cheers,
Sean.
