headlight switch " backlight "

Hey guys I was wondering if anybody on here has the part number for that small bulb that is in the back of the headlight switch. The bulb is attached to a grey 1/4 turn connector. I went to my dealer and he said you have to replace the whole headlight switch just because the bulb is burned out! I told him no way. I remember reading somewhere that somone replaced theirs, and im sure the packaging had the part number on it. Thanks

Hmmm...I'll need to watch this one. I've got the same problem, just never bothered to try and track down a replacement.

I had the same problem with my Subaru. Couldn't find any bulbs. I ended up getting a set of switches on ebay for 10 bucks, exchanged bulbs with the switches. Put the switches back on ebay with info about bulbs not working. Sold for 23+ change and I did not have to run a round looking for the "needle in a haystack".

Well, after extensive searching on this site I found the part number. Its 05015732AA. I called my dealership and gave him that number, and he said it comes up as a bulb. Had to order it though. He said it would take a few days and it was like six bucks. I will keep you guys posted on if its the right bulb. Oh and for anybody with the factory fog lights (I dont have them) the part number is 05015731AA
