Head work in Colorado

Hi guys, I am looking into getting some head work done now (fire rings, o-ring, port and polish). I am new to the area and am not familiar with any good shops to go to. Any suggestions?

Check with Bob Berends (aka laserbob) in Greeley 970-356-6444. I think he has used GAM in Greeley for headwork and been quite happy.

I saw another thread you started for 500-600hp. If that's your goal you don't need the head work (nothing you mentioned) to achieve those goals.

I would atleast get the o-ring done if you are planning on doing it already. You don't "need" it, but in the long run you might as well do it up front and save yourself the grief later. I ran 500hp for quite a while on my stock head gasket, studded of course, but it eventually gave way and caused all sorts of more damage. If I were do this truck over again, I would have done the head work first. Just my $.02

yep i agree! ATS told me i didnt "need it" with just the aurora 3000 and studs, till i took it in a week later with a piece of the head gasket missing. Just do it, it will save you trouble down the road.
