Have Your Factory Aluminum Rims Cracked?

I'm curious to see how common the cracking is on the factory aluminum rims. I love the way they look, but I'd hate to get a set and have them crack on me. So please, share all of your rim experiences here!

A good friend of mine had to replace his rims as they cracked. Its an 02 with about 160,000km (100,000 miles) used on harsh roads. He went aftermarket to replace them..

When I sold mine they had 60-80k on them with no cracks in them. They'd seen lots of pot holes and off roading.

Sold mine at about 200,000kms with no signs of cracking. I work with MadMatt on here and he's on his second round of cracking rims he's already had repaired once. We drive alot of rough roads so I'm thinkin' that may be the cause. It's hard to find wheels with the same offset, I ended up with Ion Alloy style 138 that have about 1.75" less offset but my Stillen flares covered them up fine.

So going off of the pole results, it is looking like the the cracking of these rims really doesn't happen as often as it seems to be... Granted 18 voters isn't the most evidence but it is a good estimate. Thanks to all who have contributed!
