Looks like a good deal if the trans is any good, considering it comes with a converter. Just curious I don't know whole lot about transmissions

Nobody else on here has ever heard of them im think thats saying something. And at 1900, its to good to be true. If they were worth anything everyone would go to them instead of spending 5K other places for them. Theirs so much crap on ebay id be scared to buy anything from their.

I have purchased a couple of Jeeps on ebay, but as for an auto tranny, I don't think so. You just can't tell by looking if it is good. With Jeeps, I know exactly what to look for, so I am comfortable with that. Stuff where you can't tell by pics if it is good, I can't look at.

I ordered one transmission before mail order, and the friggen thing didn't work, I got hosed for freight sending it back, screw that mess again. Unless I'm close enough to drop it back on their doorstep, I won't order one again.

HD Tranny

That guy used to be a member here or on TDR. I recall he sold all his CTD toys probably about a year ago. Don't recall the reason however. I think he also had some drag cars.

That would be cool. It probably isn't as strong as some of the big names, but who knows? It might be a good low cost alternative for some tranny upgrades instead of spending 5k on one. they list all the aftermarket stuff they have in them, I just don't know enough about transmissions to know how it compares to stock and fully built, but for that price with a converter, it is worth looking into atleast.

according to the ebay page he really works those trannies.

"Using a 4.3L V6 GM Engine to simulate your vehicles power source our Dyno machines shift your transmission numerous times through each gear, monitoring it for correct pressures, shift points and noise. Finally it is stall tested to determine its ability to handle the specific torque of your vehicles engine."

if their 4.3L V6 GM motor is putting out the numbers that my truck is, im going to sell it immediately. it had better be supercharged or on gas. the price does sound to good to be true and you usually get what you pay for.

Check this for more info...

Check it out. They have a pretty bad rep for customer service and sending out bad trannies to people. STEER CLEAR!
