hard to no starts

05 dodge with bigger injects and turbo, moddified fuel sytem pusher pump, all boxes and flash tunes have been taken out/off.latley the truck has been getting lazier on the starts.took it to dodge and the rail pressure is very slow in coming up to desired at cranking .once the truck fires desired and actual stay on top of each other.the tech said he was going to school this coming week on the new dodges so i told him i would carry it back later.he printed out all the test doddge wants one to run in trouble shooting.plenty of fuel delevered in 10 seconds, about 1000 ml, 420 is minimum.in a test of 3 10 sec crank intervals the cp3 gives 120 ml low rates are 70 at 150 rpms and 90 at 200 so i think im fine there.i have pulled all high presure connector tubes and inspected them as well as the injects and i see no burs or any type of leakge.there are no signs of fuel on or near the rail or cp3 pump.i am leaning towards it needing a new cp3 even though the fuel flow shows the cp3 to be good.any body have any ideas or similar experiences.....oh yeah almost forgot i undid the banjo bolt at the top off the valve on the rail and cranked the trunk over several times,no leakge of fuel from that valve so its doing ok at least at the less than 6300 psi start up demands....thanks for any help or ideas...one last thing the problem has been there for some time but it has gotten progressivley worse since the inject install

I haven't experienced hard to no starts with aftermarket injectors, but did experience retarded fuel injection with my now-defunct DD3's. After diagnosing everything (I for sure thought it was the CP3), we found that the DD3 were all carboned up such that right of idle they were just dribbling and then just as the rail pressure started coming up the dribble turned to a spray late causing tons of white-gray smoke and the truck to turn into a laggy, eunuch-like SOB.

Details are here with pictures:

The DD3 had Italian "Sprint" nozzles on them rather than Bosch. Don't know if this had anything to do with my problem along with maybe getting someone elses problem cores. These injectors were replaced with II 3-flows, which I am so far very impressed with.

good reading, thanks for the info,my injects arnt carboned up and atually dont have many miles on them at all.i have inspected the connecting tubes as well and dont see or fell any rough surfaces on the faces as i was told it could cause leaks .however i dont see how leaking could be a problem i cant find any drippageat all any were or any wet places around the rail or the high pressure connector tubes.i dont have any gray smoke at all,i do have pronounced injector knock but i assume it could be the pilot injection working harder to pre fill the larger injects or it could be air in the system getting injected into the cylinder causing it dont really know.i have repeatedly checked the inject install because that is the last thing done to it,however the problem has been there for some time,it has only gotten worse after the injects..
