What happens if you get dirty fuel in the IP?

I get this bit of an uneasy feeling ever since I installed my mechanical fuel pressure gauge. I drilled and tapped the banjo bolt, and cleaned everything up real well before I re-installed it. But I keep thinking what if tiny pieces of metal shavings (from the drilling/tapping) get passed the threads and go into the fuel supply. What would happen? Which component is at most risk (injectors, IP, cylinder scoring, etc.?)? Are the holes on the injectors not big enough to pass a metal shaving? I did apply anti-seize compound to the threads. What if that stuff got in there?!

That metal can cause an injector to stick open and FRY the cylinder...
