What happens after I turn the key?
I was just thinking about this earlier. What happens after I turn the key to start the engine? I'm guessing it sends a signal to the computer that tells the starter motor to run, the engine cranks, and then what? what does the CP3 do? what do the injectors do? what other processes happen?
And another thing, What happens when I push the accelerator pedal? The APPS recognizes the change, tells the computer, and then what?

That is an excellent question!! This time of the year most of our gurus are out doing what gurus do but maybe one of them has the time to post on this. It would make a good sticky.

When I turn the key my truck starts right up. I guess I am not too technical. As long as it starts I don't care how. I used to have a GM with glow plugs and I sure like the Dodge better.
