guys with TC controllers???

thinkin of gettin a TS performance tranny controller...and wondered if you got a MPG increase with them???? i know a guy on competitionDiesel forum said he gained 2mpg when he installed his TS controller...anybody with one do the same??? copilots, DTT..any.....

If your tranny doesn't shift until higher rpms when the speed gets over a threshold then yes you should notice a huge benefit in the city. I set mine to lock-up at 18mph which is first gear at big skinny or 2nd gear with egg under. If you can set the mph of the lock-up to lock and unluck this low you'll love it. Just be careful not to lug it alot as that higher turbo boost makes more power with the same amount of fuel. Your tranny automatically locks at 48mph in 3rd or 4th or 2nd if 2nd is selected...which your owners manual recommends for in the city.....so your highway mileage shouldn't be affected.KS

so say if i set it to lockup at 18mph in town driving, i should see a difference?
