?? for guys with steering column pods ??

Does the gauge/gauges get in your way when trying to look at the speedometer and rpm gauges? I can't really tell from what pictures I have seen. Thanks!

I always wondered the same thing. I got to drive one a couple months ago and it's not bad at all.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I've got a Isspro EGT gauge in an SRT-10 pillar and I'm trying to decided if I want the boost and the fuel pressure or just the boost. Hmmmm...... decisions, decisions.

As stated above the OD readout and gear selector is somewhat blocked when sitting in normal driving position. But that is all. This is picture from about my normal driving perspective.

That's the kind of pic I've been looking for. Every one I have found so far is from a different perspective. Thanks for the pic! That's what I was looking for.

One other question.... how is the tubing/harnesses routed to the gauges? Is there a cutout of something in the back of the mount?

There was not really a cutout or grooved slot on mine. My wiring just runs out the back and under the dash cluster. The back of the pod goes all the way to the dash. I used a couple of small velcro tabs on each side to secure.

Thanks. I wonder if I would have any problems running tubing/wiring for a boost gauge and a mechanical fuel pressure gauge?

It could be a little awkward, but I don't think my boost line would be any trouble. The way mine is mounted with the wiring and velcrow it is probably 3/16 of any inch above the steering column where the wiring runs out the back. But it does not show.
