Guys, I need your help and opinions
I've been having a hard time deciding on the right wheels. I decided to get the american racing Baja and keep the oem michelins. The problem is that I cant find any wheels with a backspace of less than 4.5 inches(stock is 6.5). I ordered the wheels and they came in and they are supposed to get installe d tomorrow. Do you guys think that it will look stupid sticking out that far? Also will it hurt the wheel bearings or anything else? I need to make a decision by tomorrow morning, so any help would be appreciated.
All I really want is a wheel that fits like the stock offset(or close to it). Anybody have suggestions?

It's going to look goofy. I had a set of wheels with the same backspacing for a few days and didn't like them. Even with my lift and big tires it looked bad.
Most of KMC's 17"x9" XD Series wheels are offered with 5.71" backspacing. And I believe American Racing has wheels with the proper backspacing also.

I don't know if this will help but I looked for ever for wheels with the right back spacing and that are affordable and I ended up going with eagle alloy 114's,, and bfg AT's 285-65-18's E rated,, all totaled under $1500.00,,
Here is what they look like,,

They have 6" of backspacing and are 9.5" wide..

Thanks Kevin,, they are the super finish,, they are a little less $ than the chrome and the shop where I got them said they sold some chrome ones and the chrome started peeling or something it shouldn't do,, and the manufacture said sorry.. Besides the super finish almost looks chrome anyway,,,
Thanks again; Jeff
