gutting out the AFC housing?
has anyone actually just gutted the AFC housing by taking out the the diaphram and rods? I guess if you do this it will let your truck have full fuel at idle and low boost. because normally with the AFC housing it wont let you have full fuell until a certain amount of boost. can anyone tell me more about this? thanks!

If you are looking for a ridiculous amount of smoke. I had it done for about 3 months all it does is make it hard to drive without smoking everyone out and kills mileage too. Leave AFC intact and adjust star wheel.

If you take the diaphragm out, you will be feeding boost into the oil side of the pump. Not good. If you are going to gut the housing, take the rod out of the front of the housing, the foot will drop out, and reinstall the rod. Keep the foot around, you will want to reinstall it.

you dont want full fuel at low or no boost why? it basically puts the fire out so to speak which means heat and turbo lag. Use ur afc as a tuning tool ull be much better off
