guages acting wacky

so i was driving along and all the dash lights come on and all the guage needles dropped to zero the cirlce around the prnd12 letter disappeared then came back on lights shut off, did this over and over maybe 15 times every 5 to 20 seconds until my destination
whats up with that?

on an 07 does the key on off trick work for codes ive owned it for about 2,000miles now and have yet been able to get it to show anything not even "no code"

any help guys oh yeah truck ran fine the whole time never missed a beat

Could be a bad ground under the dash. My '00 had a loose ground and whenever I would use the power window the door locks and power seat would get a mind of its own. My '99 Wrangler would do the same thing with the instrument cluster and it was a loose ground wire also.

thanks ciamcoop, i went and checked all connections i could get my hands on and still does the same, pos. was a little loose,tightned that, also after that now you can turn the key all the way and sit there it does nothing no starter, normal lights and nothing if you hold it there anywhere from 5-15seconds all the sudden it starts. its crazy
off to the dealer i guess its beyond me
